Do you teach horseback riding lessons?

The simple answer is no, we don’t. HJC is a coaching facility which uses horsemanship as an experiential tool to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.

That said, Ellen will take on particular goal centred cases which correspond with HJC values.

Do you Board horses?

We do not board horses. HJC is a private facility to ensure a safe environment for our clients.

Where are you located?

We are located in the beautiful community of Nine Mile Creek in Prince Edward Island.

Can I pay on the Day?

Payment must be made in advance of the program. We have a variety of options - please contact for more details.

Can I stop By?.

HJC is a private facility and we request that you book an appointment prior to visiting.

This allows us to respect our client’s privacy and ensure a quality meeting.

Who Do you Work with?

We work with anyone interested in change.

Are you open?

Yes! Better late than never!

As of November 2019 we are actively working with clients in our new facility.

How Much do your Programs Cost?

Various prices, all of which are agreed upon prior to your session.

Your first chemistry session is absolutely free.

Do you only coach with horses?

Not at all!

Coaching at HJC can involve equine informed experiences but they are not required.

Often clients will begin with an equine experience and opt to purchase a package of coaching time via phone or Skype to stay accountable and supported and keep costs in check.

We are happy to accommodate the suite of services which best support our clients.

What Should I wear to an Equine Informed Coaching Session?

Appropriate closed toed footwear. No sandals\flip flops or sneakers.

Jeans or other full length pants are required for safety regardless of the season.

In cooler weather please note the barn is NOT heated. Wear layers and dress for the cold.
