Girls Confident Leadership week: 12-14 year olds
Young leaders we are looking for you!
It’s never too early to nurture your leadership skills and this week aims to do exactly that for a group of young eager leaders.
The program will use horsemanship as a learning model for leadership development - allowing participants an opportunity to engage with horses while learning about their personal skills and strengths.
Learning Objectives:
Define and explain leadership and identify leadership styles.
Build personal confidence and self awareness.
Explore trust and ways to build it.
Explain and demonstrate the importance of healthy boundary building.
Explain and demonstrate assertive communication.
Understand and explain “value” both personal and the value we place externally.
Develop basic horsemanship skills.
Program will run Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 12:00pm following our corporate 3.5 hour model. Each day will incorporate an activity with the HJC herd and a “debrief” with handouts\learning materials led by an executive coach.
No horse experience required.
This is not a horseback riding lesson! Work with horses will be on the ground.
All participants must adhere to Public Health requirements in effect.
$400 + HST
Limited space! Maximum 6 participants will be accepted to this program.
