ATTENTION YOUTH AGES 10-12 YEARS OLD!
It’s never too early to nurture your leadership skills and this program aims to do exactly that for a group of young eager leaders.
The program will use horsemanship as a learning model for leadership development - allowing participants an opportunity to engage with horses while learning about their personal skills and strengths.
Learning Objectives:
Define and explain leadership and identify leadership styles.
Build personal confidence and self awareness.
Explore trust and ways to build it.
Explain and demonstrate the importance of healthy boundary building.
Explain and demonstrate assertive communication.
Understand and explain “value” both personal and the value we place externally.
Program will run for 4 Saturdays: September 25th, October 2nd, 9th & 16th 9:00 am - 12:00pm following our corporate 3 hour model. Each day will incorporate an activity with the HJC herd and a “debrief” with handouts\learning materials led by an executive coach.
At the end of the program each participant will receive a certificate of completion along with a letter of reference highlighting the skills and strengths of the individual.
No horse experience required.
This is not a horseback riding lesson!
All participants must adhere to Public Health requirements.
$300 + HST
